Bachelor's degree - Cybernetician - Engineer - IT Specialist

The result of my "journey" through two world-renowned colleges:

1. In Poland, the former Technical College of Szczecin, its Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Shipbuilding, recognized in the “Western” countries together with its brother in Gdańsk.

2. In Cuba, the University of Havana, now one of the top 500 universities, its former Department of Mathematical Cybernetics, now Mathematics and Computer Science.

In Cuba, I finished the career as Licenciado en Cibernética Matemática (1989), the field of Software Engineering in Information Technology (IT), a higher degree in Computer P,rogramming. Made my thesis in the field of Productive Chain Optimization (thanks to unforgettable workshops at a university in Poland), defended it in two days, one day for the application (several hundred thousands of dBase III Plus instructions), other day for theory (over 180 pages), awarded for direct continuation to a Doctor's degree (PhD).
Although my diploma is officially a Bachelor's degree  therefore I use Lic. acronym before my name, there is a second CV in my graduate file, drawn up in Poland. After defending mentioned extensive thesis, as well as two certified foreign languages ​​(received from English in June 1989, weeks before), I considered myself a well-deserved Polish mgr. inż (master engineer). Nevertheless life gave it to me later.
Reached Minimum Candidate to Doctor (PhD) as postgraduate academic level (1991), after many years of work-related study and research efforts since 1983, I quitted to devote  “free time” to the increasing demand to making computer applications.
Professor-Trainer in Management Techniques, certified twice by the Cuban Institute of Civil Aviation (1993 and 2003).
Due to the nature of my career, Cubans more often call me Cibernético (cybernetician) or Ingeniero (engineer), never Licenciado (Bachelor), never Informático (computer technician), who in Cuba is not a graduate as professional programmer and does not create applications. But once in 2006 I performed these tasks when as part of the contract  I also dealt with local computer network as its administrator.

Personally, I am a product of the Cuban sports system as a chess player. Former national school gold medalist, four-year Junior Champion of Havana Province, and two-year fifth-ranked Cuban Junior when I quitted professional chess practice in 1978. Four years (1972-1976) in secondary school, then grades 7th-10th, I lived off home in a boarding school campus of Havana's Sport Talents, where soccer was a physical sport for us chess players; our team was second after school's soccer team, that players played with us for their training, resulted in a small advantage difference for them. At that times the second sport for me was table tennis;  I think it keeps my reflexes in good shape. In the 80's in Poland I did judo and in Cuba swimming and body-building at the same time. In 1999 I returned to chess practice and few months later became a coach to woman grandmaster.
